Primarily responsible for tasks pertaining to all functions of the business by ensuring internal control functions are consistent throughout the organization. This role will include both monitoring processes and coaching and training branch personnel where deficiencies exist.

Responsibilities

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Monitor and support inventory processes. • Review inventory adjustments and identify any abnormal trends. • Review branch compliance with cycle count requirements and provide training and assistance where necessary, • Review non-stock inventory transactions to identify any abnormal trends. • Review periodically aged inventory balances and coordinate movement, as necessary. • Review warranty returns to ensure process results in vendor credits being processed. Monitor and support cash receipt processes. • Review open orders for any abnormal trends and ensure proper maintenance is done at branch level. • Review cancelled orders for any abnormal trends and consult with local/executive management, as necessary. • Review price overrides for any abnormal trends and consult with local/executive management, as necessary. • Ensure that daily edit process is consistent across branches and monitor daily invoicing for any abnormalities. • Review P Credits for any abnormalities. Daily Tasks • Review daily sales edits, GM % review, and price overrides. • Conduct cycle count research follow up (quantity driven investigation). • Investigate and reconcile Latitude/Harris discrepancies. • Review and process non-inventory PO’s. Weekly Tasks • Aged order review - PO/SO/Transfer. • Research and review cancelled SO’s. • Inventory adjustment (dollar driven investigation.) • Monitor WEX Fuel System usage. • Review Fed Ex LTL and small parcel activity. • Maintaining and monitoring fleet registrations and renewals.

Qualifications

College degree preferred. • Qualified applicants must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills. • Ability to create tools to gather information. Compile the information to present to multiple internal teams for review. • Problem solving and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements. • Proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook. • Ability to pass background check and drug screen. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer needs. Ability to develop customer presentations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to verify and calculate figures such as cost/sale and/or margins. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks. COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate level knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to analyze customer problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.   • *Typical hiring range: $50,000-$65,000 annually Salary commensurate with qualifications
