The primary function of the Marketing and Communications Specialist is to manage our online and offline communication internally and externally to increase brand awareness. Responsibilities include distributing promotional material, create internal newsletters quarterly, manage content for social media platforms, and assist branch locations with external communications when needed.

Responsibilities

  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Provides ongoing sales and marketing support to branch managers and sales staff. • Organize content for bimonthly internal newsletters. • Update and maintain the master customer database/ CRM. • Communicate all price increases to customer base. • Order and coordinate distribution of company promotional gear to employees and customers. • Distribute quarterly customer incentive communications quarterly. • Communicate CO-OP and claim back agreements with vendors monthly. • Communicate employee anniversary milestones monthly. • Manage all social media platforms. • Manage customer events as needed. • Review website features and benefits copy. • Publish yearly marketing calendar and update when needed. • Assist branches with external communications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor’s degree: Communications/Marketing emphasis preferred. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Experience using analytical tools including advanced level MS Excel, as well as intermediate MS Office skills. • Detail oriented with strong project management and follow through skills. • Ability to work independently without strong oversight. • Ability to pass background check and drug screen. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to managers and sales staff. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to collect and organize data. Ability to use sound judgment and problem- solving skills. COMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office. Attendance is required Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. or within normal business hours as established by the supervisor.
